Channel tools and Google user data
Measure the Pixels uses a private Google API application to help run its own YouTube channel. It is used only by the channel owner, Jeff Henry, and only with the Measure the Pixels channel. With the owner's permission it:
- reads the channel's own YouTube Analytics reports (read-only);
- reads comments on the channel's videos so replies can be drafted, and posts a reply only after the owner approves it;
- uploads and updates the channel's own videos.
It does not request access to any other person's Google account. Comments it reads are public comments on the channel's own videos and are used only to answer them. No Google user data is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. The authorization token is stored on the channel owner's private server and can be revoked at any time from the owner's Google Account permissions.
The application's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
